Kayla provides administrative assistance to the Chair of the Computing & Software Systems Division and coordinates a variety of processes related to the life of the division.

Background

Kayla graduated from Washington State University, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Integrated Strategic Communications. During her time at the university, Kayla’s dedication and enthusiasm to led her to be actively involved in various extra circular activities. She was selected to participate in the Boeing Scholars program during her senior year. She was the communications specialist in this role, collaborating closely with talented engineers to support Boeing initiatives.

Additionally, Kayla was involved in leadership, served as a Student Ambassador for the college, and was a Collegiate Everett Wind Energy Team member, promoting awareness around her school and the importance of renewable energy sources.

Following graduation, Kayla started her career in the recruiting world, supporting technology and industrial companies. She also has a background in secondary education as a Para educator supporting students, administrative faculty, and staff.

Kayla enjoys being active in her community, spending time with her family, traveling and hiking.
