Global Learning at UW Bothell
Global Initiatives is responsible for developing and implementing an internationalization strategy for UW Bothell, including expanding study abroad, internationalizing the curriculum, developing intercultural competence, advising on international fellowships, highlighting the global dimensions of diversity, encouraging global engagement locally, and managing institutional partnerships worldwide.
Students can earn UW credits towards their degree by studying abroad. All approved programs - ranging from two weeks to an entire year - are eligible for financial aid. Start your adventure now!
COIL courses deepen global engagement in the classroom, without requiring travel abroad, by implementing online collaboration with international partners.
Global Scholars Program
Students from diverse backgrounds explore issues of diversity, difference, and identity as central to all global engagements and receive individualized support to pursue global opportunities locally and abroad. Applications are accepted in the fall and the program spans one calendar year.
