Student Academic Showcase

The Student Academic Showcase is a campus-wide celebration featuring student learning and research journeys, collaborations, community partners, and networking.
This annual showcase is a comprehensive event featuring students’ research and learning projects across all academic disciplines. It provides a platform for students to showcase their achievements and raise awareness on diverse topics from environmental studies to educational improvements.
The event includes film screenings, student-led talks and exhibitions, artwork displays, oral presentations, and a poster session. The next showcase is planned for May 13-15, 2025. Project titles are due by March 21, 2025 and can be submitted by the student or a project mentor. View last year’s full schedule, including student and project names.
All of the students I nominated were very excited. It gave them an opportunity to take themselves seriously as researchers and they learned a lot about how to give a professional presentation, including how to handle the Q&A. It was a tremendous learning experience and confidence builder. I also saw families there beaming with pride at what their kids were achieving.
