Lori Robins, Professor; Division Chair
Biography
Dr. Lori Robins joined the Physical Sciences Division of the UW Bothell School of STEM in 2013. She received a B.S. in Biochemistry from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. She also studied lipid biochemistry as a postdoctoral researcher at Duke University, Durham, NC. Prior to coming to UW Bothell she was an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.

Research interests
Dr. Robins’s research focuses on using kinetic isotope effects and protein modifications to understand biological reactions such as DNA cleavage and thioester hydrolysis.
