The Master of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering (MSCSSE) at UW Bothell couples theoretical computing concepts with real-world problems, helping students develop the breadth of skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive software profession.

The MSCSSE degree is designed to accommodate the needs of working professionals. Enrollment is either part-time or full-time, with courses meeting in the evening two or three times a week. Most students complete the program in just over two years.


Graduate Certificate in Software Design & Development

Build upon your knowledge from introductory programming classes or refresh your skills to prepare to go into the Master of Science in Computer Science & Software Engineering. Take six graduate-level courses in nine months to develop a computer science foundation in data structures & object-oriented programming, software development processes, software modeling techniques, systems programming, and software testing & quality.
