Upcoming Events for Pre-Health Students
The following events are being hosted by UW Bothell or other health organizations for the benefit of all Pre-Health Students.
The University of Washington is committed to providing access and accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. From 12:00-12:50pm on most Mondays, drop into the Zoom room to ask quick questions. Students are seen individually in the order in which they arrive in the Zoom room.
NOTE: Pre-Health Virtual Drop-in Advising is cancelled on the following days:
- Mondays, December 16, 23, & 30 (Winter Break)
- Monday, January 13 – virtual office hour cancelled for Pathways In-Person Drop-by Open House in UW1-103

For those PREPARING to apply to internships and jobs in healthcare – let’s talk about the skills you have and how you can relate them to the job you want. The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share tools to help you articulate your qualifications and land that position that is the next steppingstone on your path to a fulfilling career in health.

Future Doc Mixer: Networking Over Dinner
Join the UW Bothell Pre-Med Club for an evening dedicated to Pre-Med Students looking to expand their networks and make valuable connections. This is your chance to:
- Connect with current Medical Students
- Bond with fellow Pre-Med Students
- Network with potential mentors

For those EXPLORING or PREPARING for health careers – let’s talk about Summer & Other Enrichment Opportunities! The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share information to help you identify programs and provide tools to help you articulate your qualifications so that you can apply with confidence! These programs have application deadlines in late Fall/early Winter, so now is the time to learn about them and prepare your applications!
12-1pm – take a study break and come learn about these opportunities so you can apply after finals!

For those EXPLORING careers in healthcare – let’s talk about tools available to help fuel your search that will allow you to build a professional network along the way. The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share methods for finding job ideas and building human resources to bolster your success with a strong mentor network in health.
Join right before the Career Pathways Mixer to practice your elevator speech and learn how vital these connections will be to your career’s success!
Kalee Warnimont of the UW Medicine MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program will present information and address questions about their program and its application process.

The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share tips for writing your statement and lead an interactive workshop where you will work together to start your statement and leave inspired to complete this essential piece of any application.
