Upcoming Events for Pre-Health Students
The following events are being hosted by UW Bothell or other health organizations for the benefit of all Pre-Health Students.
The University of Washington is committed to providing access and accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. From 12:00-12:50pm on most Mondays, drop into the Zoom room to ask quick questions. Students are seen individually in the order in which they arrive in the Zoom room.
NOTE: Pre-Health Virtual Drop-in Advising is cancelled on the following days:

Hear Directly from Students about the Medical School Application Process
Register for the Navigating the Journey to Medical School: Insights from Students webinar taking place on Thurs., Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. ET. First-year medical student Jasmine Lopez and current premed Alessio Barca will share how they became interested in medicine and prepared to apply for medical school. They will also answer questions from participants. Be sure to register even if you can’t attend in real time so you can receive the recording of the webinar. Register today!

Join UW School of Medicine Communications & Outreach Manager Sarah Hafner to learn more about their MD program, its requirements, and application process.

Join Director of Student Recruitment Lynn Howard to learn about the programs available at the Elson Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University. Their programs include MD, Speech and Hearing Sciences, and Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. Lynn will provide a formal presentation from 10:30-11:30am, and then she’ll be available for walk-in advising until 12:30pm.
For those EXPLORING graduate school options in healthcare – let’s talk about researching programs to determine which might be the best fit for your skills, interests, and values. The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share tools for your search along with ideas to consider on your path to graduate school.

For those EXPLORING or PREPARING for health careers – let’s talk about Summer & Other Enrichment Opportunities! The Health Professions & Natural Science Pathways Manager will share information to help you identify programs and provide tools to help you articulate your qualifications so that you can apply with confidence! These programs have application deadlines in late Fall/early Winter, so now is the time to learn about them and prepare your applications!
12-1pm – take a study break and come learn about these opportunities so you can apply after finals!
