Upcoming Events for Pre-Health Students

The following events are being hosted by UW Bothell or other health organizations for the benefit of all Pre-Health Students.

The University of Washington is committed to providing access and accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. From 12:00-12:50pm on most Mondays, drop into the Zoom room to ask quick questions. Students are seen individually in the order in which they arrive in the Zoom room.

NOTE: Pre-Health Virtual Drop-in Advising is cancelled on the following days:

  • Monday, July 22
  • Monday, September 2 (Labor Day Holiday)

5pm – 7pm. UWSOD Pre-admissions info session will be from 5pm-6pm. RIDE Program info session will take place from 6pm-7pm.

Description: Join us for a UW School of Dentistry Virtual Info Session where we will be having a student panel along with sharing information about our RIDE Program.

The Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE) program is a specific educational track of the University of Washington School of Dentistry (UWSOD) that trains dentists to meet the needs of rural and underserved populations in the state and region. RIDE students attend dental school at the EWU Spokane campus where UWSOD delivers high quality dental education through both in-person instruction and distance learning modalities. The UWSOD pre-admissions info session will be from 5pm-6pm. Then we will dive into the RIDE program breakout session from 6pm-7pm.

The Virtual Pharmacy School Fair features workshops hosted by pharmacy schools, addressing topics that will provide attendees with knowledge and skills for navigating the pharmacy admission process and entering a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program as well as workshops on Exploring Pharmacy Career Paths, Navigating Pre-Pharmacy Admissions, and Preparing for Pharmacy School.

Each workshop will dive into a variety of topics including pharmacy profession overviews and career path options; building competitive application packages; and navigating financial aid, scholarships, and student loans.

So, come curious and leave feeling confident, knowledgeable, and prepared to catalyze your future in healthcare and pharmacy!
