Counseling Center

The Counseling Center staff provides numerous services to meet the needs of students, parents, faculty, and staff. Counseling Center offers confidential, short-term counseling to enrolled UWB and Cascadia students free of charge.  We offer same day crisis appointments, individual counseling, group counseling and couples counseling.

Many students have requested information about recent immigration executive order and the implications for them or their family members. UW is providing the latest information here: Executive order on immigration.

Workshops and community intervention:

Workshops and skills building classes are offered to increase students’ knowledge, skills, and self-awareness to enhance your ability to effectively cope with problems in every-day-living.

Consultation Services:

Individual consultations with parents, faculty, and staff who are concerned about a student and students who are concerned about a fellow UWB student.

We look forward to meeting you!

Rosemary E. Simmons, Ph.D.,

Counseling Center Director
