Welcome to the University of Washington Bothell!
Please excuse our dust! Our website is currently under construction and is being revised to reflect new options and resources for students.
UW Bothell Academic Advising is the home of our undergraduate academic advisors, who assist students throughout their time on our campus. This page will help you connect with your advisor should you have any questions!
Where is the Academic Advising Center?
You can find our Academic Advising Center at UW1-160, the first floor of Founder’s Hall (formerly the Student Success Center). Our open hours are posted below. During our open hours, student assistants are available to answer basic questions and help you check in for advising appointments.
The Academic Advising Center will be fully remote from December 16th until January 2nd. Student Assistants will be unavailable for drop-in during that time.
Day | Time |

Who is my Academic Advisor?
All undergraduate students have an assigned academic advisor. To find your advisor’s name, log into our advising system Navigate360, and you’ll see your advisors name and a link to contact them listed in your Success Team.
How do I Contact my Academic Advisor?
Academic Advisors can be contacted multiple ways!
To make an appointment, log into Navigate360 and click “Schedule an Appointment, or use the Navigate App and choose “Appointments”.
To message your advisor, log into Navigate 360 and find your Advisor’s name under “Your Success Team”. Click on the email icon to message them!
Alternatively, you can always reach out to our advising office by emailing uwbadvis@uw.edu.
Please note that during busy periods, such as registration or the start of the quarter, you may see delays in our response time.
Is Drop-In Advising Available?
Yes! There are two types of drop-in advising. Some academic advisors hold their own drop-in hours. If you’d like to meet your advisor during drop-in, please reach out to them to find out their available drop-in hours.
You can also get drop-in advising assistance from our student assistants. Student assistants can answer quick questions about advising issues and access to campus resources, or can help you connect with your academic advisor. You can access drop-in advising during our office hours either in-person in the Academic Advising Center, or through Zoom (see center hours listed above).
For Zoom Drop-In, Please Note: Drop-in is unavailable during break and will return in Winter quarter.
- You can access the Drop-In Link here: https://washington.zoom.us/j/8097884962
- You will be required to sign in using your UW Net ID & password
- The Zoom meeting room may close earlier than the posted end time if there are lots of students in the waiting room …more students = earlier closing so we can help students in the waiting room and end on time. If you are unable to access the waiting room, please email uwbadvis@uw.edu and we can work to help you over email.
- Wait times will be dependent on the number of students who are in the waiting room before you.
- Students will be seen in the order they checked in via the Zoom waiting room. If you leave the waiting room you will lose your place in line.
- Drop-in advising sessions are generally 10 minutes or less.
What is Academic Advising?
The Advising Partnership
As educators, advisors emphasize the core skills of critical thinking and decision-making, and the value of broad exposure to a diversity of perspectives. In addition to assistance with tasks such as choosing a major and planning course schedules, advisors engage in a broader dialogue with individual students to clarify their academic and personal goals. This includes discussing careers and graduate school plans or pre-professional advising in a number of areas such as pre-health.
We are committed to your academic success!
Our mission as Academic Advisors is to facilitate the exploration of transformative educational experience so that students may become engaged university members and active global citizens.
