VCAA Leadership Council

The VCAA Leadership Council (VLC) provides core academic leadership for the UW Bothell campus. It is made up of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA), the Deans of the five UW Bothell schools, the Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean for Student Success, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Faculty Success, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Sponsored Research & Connected Learning, and the Associate Dean of University Libraries & Director of the UWB/CC Library..

Graduate Resource and Development Council

The UW Bothell Graduate Resource and Development (GRAD) Council is committed to enhancing graduate education and building graduate community on the UW Bothell campus. Graduate advisors and staff partner across faculty, staff, students, campus partners, the Graduate School, and graduate staff at UW Seattle and UW Tacoma to cultivate a holistic and transformative educational experience.

Undergraduate Academic Advising Leadership Council

The Undergraduate Academic Advising Leadership Council (UAALC) provides oversight for campus-wide programs and advising initiatives that develop and support a culture of excellence for the student experience in academic affairs at the University of Washington Bothell. This leadership body organized as the Undergraduate Academic Advising Leadership Council in November 2019 to better coordinate comprehensive student success services and advising initiatives among UW Bothell's academic schools and programs. UAALC membership includes the Advising Director or Supervisory Lead for each School, including the Pre-Major Advising Program, and representatives from additional campus units engaged in the oversight, strategy, or assessment of co-curricular student success in Academic Affairs.

Writing Council

The Writing Council aims to create effective writing pathways for students throughout the entirety of their UW Bothell experience. The Writing Council supports the thoughtful and consistent integration of writing across the curriculum, from the first- year to the graduate level. The Council aims to strengthen the campus-wide culture of writing and communication through fostering connections across Schools and expanding opportunities for student learning and faculty development. The Council is made up of faculty from across the Schools, the Director of Composition, and a librarian.
