UW Curriculum Management system
The UW Curriculum Management system (UW CM) is an online paperless curriculum application that supports the submission of new course and course change applications.
Creating & changing courses
Distance Learning (DL) designation
To add a DL designation to a new course, please refer to the new course application quick guide and steps 5 through 8. To add a DL designation to an existing course, please refer to the quick guide.
Diversity (DIV) designation
Please review the DIV designation process and submit the application form to UW CM as an attachment along with the syllabus and any other required supporting documentation.
Community Engaged Learning (E) designation
Please review the E designation process and view course examples aligned with Community Engaged Learning. Respond to appropriate items for the most efficient review; then submit the application form to your school’s curriculum committee.
Approval process & status of course applications
UW Bothell course applications are reviewed by the Campus Council on Academic Standards and Curriculum (CCASC). for application deadlines and meeting agendas, please contact CCASC at (425) 352-3555.
Course applications are submitted to UW Curriculum Committee (UWCC) after CCASC approval. The Monthly Curriculum Report officially records the actions of the UWCC. Please check the site for the status of course proposals submitted prior to deadlines. Learn more about the approval process.
