Tuition & Fees

The Cashier’s Office accepts personal checks, cashier checks, money orders and cash up to $500.
For credit/debit card payments on student accounts, use the online portal.

Online Web Check

The fastest way to pay tuition is online using the free web check option. Payments post to student accounts immediately with a confirmation receipt. If web check payment is not working, verify if the routing and checking account numbers are correct. If you are still having problems, contact Student Fiscal Services at 206-543-4694 or or sfshelp@uw.edu.

In order to make FREE ONLINE WEB CHECK TUITION PAYMENTS, you need:

  • UW Student ID number
  • Bank routing number and account number
  • Log into MyUW
  • Click on your “Tuition Charge Statement” and
  • Select the “Web Check” option to make your payment

Pay by mail

  • Be sure to write your seven-digit student number on your check, as well as, your name on the front so your tuition account will be properly credited.
  • UW P.O. Box cannot accept FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. Use U.S. Postal Service if mailing a check.

International Student Payment Options

The University of Washington has several options for international students to make secure payments from outside the United States. Please visit UW Student Fiscal Services – International Student Payment Options for complete details.

Foreign payments

UW Bothell does not accept foreign payments (checks from non-US Banks) even when they are drawn in US Dollars (USD). Foreign checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, drafts or currency presented for payment that were not issued by a bank in the United States, including Canada, are considered a foreign item. Students are encouraged to use the International Wire Transfer for making their tuition payments.

Scholarships, Loans, & Sponsors

UW Student Fiscal Services Office (SFS) handles scholarship processing and sponsor billing for all students. For detailed information on Boeing tuition vouchers, third party tuition and military sponsors, see Scholarship and Sponsors – Billing and Payments.

Short term loans

UW Office of Student Financial Aid has funds available for short-term loans to assist students who are currently attending the university (loans cannot be processed between quarters). See Short-Term Loan information regarding the short-term loan program.

Parking Permits, Citations, & U-PASS

Parking Permits and U-PASS information regarding purchases can be found on the Transportation website. Payments with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, e-pay (i.e.: Apple, Samsung, and Google Pay), as well as, personal checks, cashier checks, money orders, and cash (up to $500 maximum) are accepted.

Students

Parking Permits: Purchase online through the Bothell Campus Parking Portal or in person with check, cash, credit card, or e-pay.

UPASS: Free web check or credit card (fee applies) options are available online through U-Pass/Transit or pay in person by check or cash.

Staff

Parking Permits: Purchase online through the Bothell Campus Parking Portal or in person.

Parking Citations

Husky Cards

Events, UW Sports, & AMC Movie Tickets

On occasion, various event tickets are sold through the Cashier’s Office, such as sports games, theatre shows, or recreational outings. Payments with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, e-pay (i.e.: Apple, Samsung, and Google Pay), as well as, personal checks, cashier checks, money orders, and cash (up to $500 maximum) are accepted. UW Sports: Husky sports game tickets, unless a select game is being offered by UW Bothell, are sold through the Husky Ticket office at gohuskies.com.

AMC Movie Tickets: Student Affairs offers AMC Movie Tickets through the Cashier’s Office, ticket price is $9 each. Additional information on AMC Tickets.

Departmental Deposits

A completed “Departmental Deposit Slip” form is required for all funds being submitted by UW Bothell departments and schools to the Cashier’s Office for processing.
