Toolkit for Campus
The values of inclusion, equity and justice are central to the UW’s mission as a public university, and the fulfillment of those values is what the University’s Race & Equity Initiative seeks to achieve. The recent passage of the Statement of Business Equity by the Board of Regents codifies these values in university policy, making it clear that business practices will be guided by a belief in inclusiveness and equity. UW Bothell will actively engage with small, local, minority and women-owned, veteran, and diverse businesses to create opportunity and transparency, while supporting the broader economy of Washington state.
Here you will find information about different suppliers and what our campus can do to support these initiatives through our purchasing habits.
Staff, faculty, and student workers are encouraged to attend the Diverse Supplier Fair held in Fall Quarter. The fair will provide an opportunity for suppliers and the campus community to connect with one another.
Listed below are different resources to access suppliers. Supplier Diversity focuses on creating opportunity for the local community and other small businesses; such as minority, women, veteran owned, etc. Below are different lists of suppliers based on the services provided.
