Becca Price publishes “Spotlighting Diversity: An example of a well-tested and effective classroom intervention”

IAS faculty member Becca Price and Clark Coffman (Iowa State) have published a third article in a series of annotations that introduce scholars to biology education research. The original paper (by Schinske and colleagues) describes an easy-to-implement intervention that showcases the biographies of different scientists, highlighting the many different backgrounds from which they come. Price’s and Coffman’s annotations unpack the research behind why this intervention is so successful.
