Alka Kurian Co-directs the 10th Seattle South Asian Film Festival

IAS faculty member Alka Kurian co-directed the 10th Seattle South Asian Film Festival (SSAFF) October 15 – 25, 2015. Held over five cities in the Greater Seattle area, with nearly 60 films, and 25 invited filmmakers, SSAFF is the biggest and the most diverse film festival of its kind in the US.

As part of the festival, Alka Kurian also organized a symposium on "Human Rights and the Politics of Filmmaking in South Asia", October 19-20.
