Jessica Trenkamp receives IAS Staff Recognition Award

Congratulations to Jessica Trenkamp, our Senior Academic Advisor, for receiving an IAS Staff Recognition Award!

Trenkamp’s extraordinary support of the Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies (GWSS) students and faculty, before and during remote operations, has had a profound impact on the program and its members. She advocates for her students, attends all GWSS meetings, helps facilitate info sessions and events, provides insight into student needs, and acts as the perfect link between students and faculty. Trenkamp’s resourcefulness, generosity, and care are vital and appreciated by the GWSS community.

Trenkamp was nominated by IAS faculty member Julie Shayne (GWSS Faculty Coordinator) and Akshara Balakrishnan (GWSS Student Representative) on behalf of the whole GWSS community.
