Chad Bates (’14, Global Studies) accepted a new role as Business Operations Manager for Specialty Practices at Amazon Web Services Professional Services. Previously, he was the Concierge Customer Service Manager at Amazon Web Services. Jung Lee (’13, Policy Studies) started a new position as Academic Services Manager for the School of IAS at UW Bothell. In this role, Jung is responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, analysis, and assessment process of IAS courses and programs. She guides admission and enrollment management, as well as the equitable process for academic programs and scholarship opportunities. Drue Nyenhuis (‘12, Global Studies and Society, Ethics & Human Behavior) is now Customer and Community Relations Manager at the Washington State Ferries. His work focuses on improving customer and community experiences with WSF through program evaluation and improved customer communications. Faith Simonelli (’10, Cultural Studies) has joined Cocoon House as Prevention Program Manager. Faith is a lifelong Snohomish County resident that advocates for youth and families facing housing and homelessness. Cocoon House empowers young people, families, and the community to break the cycle of homelessness through outreach, housing and prevention. Congrats to all!
