IAS faculty member Kari Lerum recently published a commentary on Amnesty International’s vote to decriminalize sex work in The Conversation (an online academic news forum). The article, entitled “Scientists score one over celebrities in battle to decriminalize sex work” compares the anti-prostitution activism by Hollywood celebrities to that of evidence provided by medical and academic researchers who argue for decriminalization of sex work.
