Community-Engaged Learning & Research
Elementary Education Option students can take classes with built-in experiential learning experiences in schools or community-based settings. Students can put theory into practice, gain classroom experience, and explore possible career opportunities.
Study Abroad
Studying abroad can be a transformative experience that expands students’ understanding of the world. Through studying abroad, students can experience different perspectives and develop valuable global skills like adaptability and intercultural communication and relationship-building.
Undergraduate Research
Conducting research under the mentorship of a faculty member or having hands-on experience in creative projects deepens learning, boosts students’ chances for employment, and prepares students for acceptance into a professional or graduate program.
