The work we do enables users throughout the university to engage with their key audiences using platforms that are interactive, reliable, accessible and consistent with the university brand.

Website training and office hours support
The Office of Marketing & Communications offers a WordPress training for employed UW Bothell staff, faculty and student employees. All trainees must receive permission from the subsite’s “Primary Editor” and contact firstname.lastname@example.org with that permission stated before signing up for a training. Learn how to request access or view the Primary Editor list here.

The marcomm team does not offer training or support on other CMS or intranet (SharePoint, Google sites, etc.) platforms.
Content manager support
Note: the term “content producer” encompasses all of the roles in WordPress.
Training documentation for content producers is available in the private Documentation subsite inside WordPress (link will not work unless signed into WordPress).
Weekly office hours are held to address questions or receive guided training in order to learn how tool works; they are open to all UW Bothell web editors. New hours will be posted in August 2023. Office hours are hosted via Zoom.

Trumba event calendar
UW and UW Bothell uses an event calendaring system called Trumba. It provides event registration and the ability to embed individual calendars into websites. Please see event calendar help for an overview, information about access and more.
