Admitted students

Welcome!

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Master of Nursing program. We look forward to welcoming you to the School of Nursing & Health Studies community and supporting you throughout your graduate studies. In addition to the university and Graduate School requirements, take action on the following before registering for fall quarter:

Complete our new student Health & Safety requirements

In addition to the UW Tri-Campus immunization requirements using Med+Proctor, admitted Master of Nursing students must complete the program’s following Health and Safety requirements : 1) initial background check 2) proof of RN license 3) completion of a criminal disclosure form. These three items are required to be completed before you register for classes. To ensure completion, a registration hold is placed on your student account and removed once the requirements have been completed and verified by our health and safety coordinator.

To complete the requirements, create a UWB BSN CastleBranch account. If you have an existing UWB BSN CastleBranch, first contact the Health and Safety Coordinator, Jennifer Kirstein at uwbnursingcompliance@uwb.edu. Likewise, if you have general questions, we invite you to reach out.

  • Initial background check: Purchase package code UH82bg to complete. $54.00 fee.
  • RN license verification and criminal disclosure form: Purchase package code UH81imel to access portal (aka the compliance tracker-eLearning Tracker) to complete. $64.99 fee. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of page and agree you’ve read the instructions. Download the form to complete/upload and send a screen shot or license verification letter from the DOH for your RN license proof. In the portal, you will see a larger set of clinical requirements. These requirements can be completed at a later date. At this time we only require the criminal disclosure form and the RN license proof.
