Our commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion
The University of Washington Bothell Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion vision is to create a beloved community in which students, staff, and faculty can thrive and transform the University of Washington Bothell, our greater community, and beyond.
The Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion acknowledges the present, ongoing occupation of the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples. The University of Washington Bothell was built upon, and still occupies, the unceded homelands of the Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Duwamish, and Stillaguamish nations. Our campus also occupies the shared lands and waters of the communities within the Muckleshoot, Skykomish, Snohomish, Suquamish, and Tulalip peoples. We recognize the Indigenous peoples and nations of this stolen land as its original stewards and caretakers.
