2022 Institute on High-Impact Practices and Student Success
The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) announced that UW Bothell will be among the forty-one institutions selected to participate in its 2022 Institute on High-Impact Practices and Student Success. The Institute is designed to strengthen institutional capacity to achieve quality, equity, and student engagement goals through the design, implementation, and assessment of active teaching and learning practices widely known as “high-impact practices,” or HIPs.

First ISCRM fellow, Djelli Berisha, from UW Bothell
Sophomore Djelli Berisha has become the first UW Bothell student to receive a fellowship through UW's Institute for Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM) fellowship program intended to launch careers and expand opportunities in stem cell research.

Plants tell their stories with QR codes
Thanks to a UW Bothell Herbarium project, dozens of plants, bushes and trees on around campus have labels with QR codes that a smartphone can read to open a website with site-specific information.

A scientific compendium of dried plants housed at the Sarah Simonds Green Conservatory is now listed on the world’s largest index of such collections, known as herbaria.
