Our mission
The mission of the Office of Student Academic Success (OSAS) at UW Bothell is to provide comprehensive programming, consulting, coaching, tutoring, advising, and much more to students, faculty, and staff — all with the goal of providing each member of our community the support they need to be boundless.
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to success, and we are excited to journey with you as you continue to uncover the unique vision of success that aligns with you, your goals, and your community.
What we offer
- Undergraduate academic advising: Centralized academic advising for all undergraduate degrees.
- Support for graduate students
- Academic Support Programs: Academic Success Coaching, Writing & Communications Center and Quantitative Skills Center — all located in the Academic Learning Commons (ALC).
- First Year & Pre-Major Program: We support first and second year (or pre-major) students at UW Bothell with their academic advising needs, from scheduling classes and meeting faculty, to discussing future career goals.
- Curriculum development: Guidance through the curriculum development process for undergraduate programs.
- Guidance for the assessment process
- The UW Bothell STARS program: The State Academic Rising Scholars (STARS) program seeks to increase diversity and access for pre-major students interested in technology degrees.
