Power out in Cascadia College buildings. UWB holds classes as usual except those in Beardslee Building and CC1. Husky Hall and Beardslee Crossing buildings are closed due to outage.

Monitoring conditions overnight
UW Bothell leadership is monitoring conditions on campus and will announce a decision about Friday campus operations by 5 a.m. There are still concerns about ice on campus rooftops. With falling rain and temperatures not expected to dip below freezing, we are hopeful conditions will allow us to resume operations. Please check www.uwb.edu/emergency for updates.

Normal operations resume Friday, Feb. 15
UW Bothell will resume normal operations on Friday, Feb. 15. There are some areas of campus closed including the ARC, Bookstore, Food for Thought and North Creek Events Center. Suspended operations Feb. 14
UW Bothell (all locations) will suspend operations on Thursday, Feb. 14. There are still large amounts of snow and ice on campus roofs. As temperatures warm in the middle of the day, these deposits will fall as large sheets of ice, posing serious risk.

Husky Hall closed Feb. 13-14
Husky Hall will be closed Feb. 13-14 to remove snow accumulation on the roof. Officials will also inspect the roof to ensure it has not sustained damage during the recent winter storm.

Winter weather & classwork: A note from the vice chancellor
By now, the relief of having the extra time that a few snow days have provided has perhaps turned to anxiousness as you consider how you and faculty will make up lost class time. Chancellor Wolf Yeigh has asked faculty to make plans to make up lost class time and to be flexible with students to make up assignments.
