About the Husky Pantry
We understand that sometimes students go through a rough patch and need a little help. Husky Pantry is a resource for all UW Bothell students who might be between paychecks or just need some extra resources to get through the week or month.
The Husky Food Pantries may be accessed by any UW Bothell student who is facing food insecurity. Students may use th RSVP form in advance to let us know they are coming and request specific items, or students may just stop by.
*Updated Husky Pantry information for Spring Quarter 2021
The Husky Pantry is currently operating on a curbside pickup model out of the ARC once a week, as well as a location in Husky Village for Husky Village residents. The previous Diversity Center pantry location is currently closed while campus operations are remote.
Husky Pantry Curbside Pickup
While campus is closed, the Husky Pantry is available for curbside pickup. The current schedule is every Tuesday, from 10:30am-1:00pm. Simply pull into the loading zone in front of the ARC or walk up to the front of the building, and someone will bring a prepacked bag of groceries out for a minimal contact pickup. If you would like to let us know in advance that you're coming (helpful, but not necessary), or would like to make a special request (for example, to see if we have any non dairy options, or to request a toiletry package), please fill out our RSVP form.
Husky Village Community Center (only open to the residential students)
Husky Village Community Center is the original Husky Pantry, and can be accessed by any housing resident who is facing food insecurity. Please check with residential staff for access.
Student Diversity Center location UW1-173 (closed during campus closure)
Off-campus food resources
If you are struggling to find resources that meet your needs, please email email@example.com, and the staff at the Health and Wellness Resource Center can assist you or answer any questions.
There are a number of additional community resources that students may use to provide food for themselves or their households:
HOPELINK MOBILE MARKET
The Hopelink Mobile Market is a truck that delivers food from Hopelink directly to you on campus. They are parked in the loading zone behind CC1 on Campus Way on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, from 10:30am-12pm. The Mobile Market offers both non perishable foods, as well as perishables such as produce or dairy when available. Items are prepacked for a limited contact pickup. Please visit the Mobile Market website for their full calendar and more information.
At this time, Hopelink food pantries are open to ALL in the community, no pre-registration or documentation is required. They will ask how many people are in your household, so that they may provide you with correct amounts of prepackaged foods. There are a number of Hopelink locations near campus, including Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond. Please visit https://www.hopelink.org/find-location for more information and additional locations.
