This 2-or 4- year hybrid cohort graduate program in Administrative Leadership is designed in collaboration with UW Bothell MBA professors, community nurse executives and nursing faculty to ensure the curriculum is relevant, engaging and develops students' skills in business, leadership and nursing. The track coursework is taught by faculty in the UWB School of Business’s MBA program and the School of STEM’s Computer Science Program and leverages their deep expertise in healthcare business and informatics to better prepare you to lead in your organization.
In this track, you learn to lead complex organizations and communities where managing the work of nursing extends to overseeing and coordinating interprofessional teams, developing complex budgets, maintaining fiscal health and ensuring regulatory requirements comply, and guiding quality initiatives and improvement processes. Graduates meet the didactic requirement to sit for advanced credentialing of Nurse Executive (NE-BC) by the American Nurse Credentialing Center.
Students have the first year in the program to determine a pathway (applicants do not need to have decided on a pathway when applying). View the part-time (4-year) and full-time (2-year) program schedules.
