Convocation launches year

The incoming class of 2020, new transfer students and their families were welcomed to the University of Washington Bothell at convocation. The ceremony Sunday was the 11th year of the tradition that officially kicks off the new academic year and the 10th year for first year students.

No piranhas in student housing

Goldfish bowls are OK, but no pet piranhas are allowed in UW Bothell housing where Friday was move-in day for 270 students at 90 Husky Village and 20 Campus View apartments. Aquariums aside, the residential life staff is committed to connecting students with campus and building a sense of belonging. This is their home.
