To accept your offer of admission from UW Bothell, you must:

1: Create your UW NetID

Your UW NetID is your key to accessing UW services — from accepting your admission offer to registering for classes. It will also be used to create your UW email address: You’ll just add @uw.edu. Once you set up your NetID, it can’t be changed, so pick something you’ll want to use for all purposes! Refer to your application portal for your system key.

2: Confirm your enrollment

Now that you have your official UW NetID, you can use it to log in and pay your $250 non-refundable and non-transferable Enrollment Confirmation Deposit. Once you start taking classes, this deposit will be credited toward your first quarter’s tuition and fees. If you don’t end up coming to UW Bothell, this deposit cannot be refunded or transferred. First-year students must confirm their enrollment by June 1.

Register for orientation

As an incoming first-year student, you’re required to complete a series of advising and orientation sessions where you’ll learn more about the UW Bothell campus, meet new friends, and register for your first quarter classes with the help of an Advisor. Your directed self-placement surveys for Composition and Math (see below) must be completed before attending Orientation.

Complete your directed self-placement surveys

The directed self-placement surveys at UW Bothell allows you to choose your own course level to meet the University’s first-year Composition and Math requirements. In each directed self-placement survey, you’ll learn the demands of each course level and reflect on which is the best choice for you to be successful as a student at UW Bothell.

Submit your official final transcripts to UW Bothell

It’s likely that you were admitted to UW Bothell with courses still in progress (i.e. before you finished your final year of high school). Once your in-progress courses have been completed and graded, you must have your counselor or transcript servicer send your Official Final High School Transcripts and/or your Official Final College Transcript(s) to the UW Bothell Office of Admissions.
