Over 200 students attended the UW Bothell Spring Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 24. Students seeking business and communications opportunities were given access to more than 30 companies who came to campus eager to find qualified candidates to fill their positions. Participating companies and organizations ranged from advertising and real estate firms to graduate schools. The room was filled with excitement as students engaged with recruiters.

In the weeks leading up to the fair the Career Center offered preparation to students including interview tips and resume reviews. Senior Kirsten Bell believes faculty and staff helped her refine her career plans, “I able to have access to the resources I needed to make informed decisions about what career path I want to take, different classes and possible majors that would be beneficial to my interests and passion.”

Day two of the Spring Career and Internship Fair continues on Thursday, April 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the North Creek Events Center. Recruiters from more than 30 science and technology companies, including Verizon, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Nytec will be on campus searching for new talent.
