Modern humans do not have biological races, says Joseph L. Graves, Jr., evolutionary biologist who spoke Tuesday at UW Bothell on “Using Science to Talk about Race and Racism.” Genetically, we’re all Africans, descendants of people who migrated out of Africa 60,000 to 70,000 years ago.
