Desiree is an experienced operations manager with a demonstrated history of working with growing companies. She guided Harris Bricken and Stackline to develop systems for business operations, human resources, and company finance. One of her biggest passions is tapping into a company's culture to expand its reach to engage employees from all backgrounds and departments. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, dancing and playing with her dog Axle.

Desiree on mentorship
As a first generation high school and college graduate, and also a Latinx woman, mentorship has been a guiding force in my career. I have an unlimited amount of gratitude to the mentors in my life and I'd like to continue that tradition on the other end of the relationship. I also believe there is so much to be learned in both directions. As a part of Network of Executive Women, I have been guided by my more tenured NEW peers to advance my skills and create lasting professional relationships. I hope to translate all the potential my mentors have seen in me and give that same confidence to someone else.
I'm excited to mentor students on starting their career. I have worked with many entry level employees to develop best practices for communication, organization, email management, systems creation and leadership. I enjoy reviewing resumes and preparing for interviews given my history with recruiting and HR.
