Our annual Legacy Award recognizes individuals, families and organizations who contribute their time, service and philanthropy to UW Bothell.
Recently, Chancellor Kristin Esterberg proudly presented the 2024 Legacy Award to Clyde and Sherrelle Walker. The Walkers are outstanding supporters of the Bothell campus and the UW community more broadly. Their support of UW Bothell includes generous financial contributions, deep and meaningful advocacy, and volunteerism. In 2020, Clyde and Sherrelle created an endowment within UW Bothell’s School of Educational Studies — the Beulah Shaw-Walker and Lula Hines-Jiggitts Endowed Fund in Education, named in honor of their mothers — to support teachers who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
