UWB Crisis Services
The Counseling Center is offering open call-in hours on Monday to Friday from 1pm to 3pm for crisis or urgent concerns. If you are looking for assistance outside of our call-in hours, please review the resources and options listed below.
On evening, weekends, and university holidays a variety of resources are available.
UW has partnered with My SSP to give students access to real-time, confidential mental health consultation and support, 24/7 and in multiple languages: Simplified Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Spansh & French. My SSP provides supportive one-time counseling in addition to crisis counseling. My SSP counselors are licensed mental health therapists who are familiar with UWB resources. There are serveral ways to connect:

If you are suicidal, or your safety is threatened, call 911 and the local authorities will take you to a nearby hospital emergency department to speak with a professional counselor.
If someone has threatened immediate harm to themself or others, call UWB Security and Campus Safety at 425.352.5359. Campus Safety can send for an ambulance, a city police officer, or the county sheriff depending on the location of the person in crisis.
