RN-to-BSN

Program Details and Site Information

Program Details

The RN to BSN program is offered at multiple locations and at different times during the year. Students take the program together in a group as a cohort with a set course schedule; either as a hybrid bi-weekly class schedule or in-person weekly schedule.

The program is designed to be completed in a 4 or 9 quarter sequence of coursework. The 4 quarter program is considered to be full time and the 9 quarter program part time. The nursing courses meet one-day-per-week or every-other-week (if hybrid) from approximately 8:00 am - 5:30 pm with two electives that may meet 2-3 times per quarter from 5:45 - 9:00 pm (2 of the 4 quarters). Additionally, the program consists of a Community Health Course which requires fieldwork outside of the classroom and requires travel within the region. The fieldwork is held in place of class time.

Whether on the Bothell campus or at one of our off-site locations, students apply to the UWB RN to BSN program, go through the same review process and experience the same curriculum. The program is offered at UW Bothell at three off site locations.
