Social and Racial Inequalities in Health

The purpose of this research group is to examine social and racial inequalities that results in health disparities. We will examine the social context, and social predictors of poor health across multiple chronic health indicators across a diverse group of foreign born and native born respondents. A key focus of this group is to examine the relationship between perceived and actual racial/ethnic discrimination in health.
