In-person appointments

If you have scheduled an in-person appointment, check in at the School of STEM Undergraduate Academic Services front desk in Discovery Hall 352, across from the elevators.

Online appointments and drop-in advising

If you have scheduled an online appointment, visit the appropriate link below at your appointment time to enter the Zoom waiting room for your appointment, and we will be with you shortly!


Chemistry advising has regular online drop-in times for quick questions. Visit the link below at the times listed and we will be with you as soon as we can. Please be aware that we might not be available some weeks due to illness, other responsibilities, holidays, or a large number of people in the waiting room.

  • Mondays & Tuesdays: 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM
  • Wednesdays: No drop-ins
  • Thursdays & Fridays: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Saturdays & Sundays: No drop-ins

Scheduling for prospective students

We primarily work with students who have already been admitted to the Chemistry or Physics majors. If you have not yet been admitted, please follow the instructions below.

UW Bothell pre-major students

Pre-major students can contact an FYPP (First Year and Pre-Major Program) advisor for help planning their coursework and getting ready to apply.

High school and transfer students

Students from high schools or other institutions (including UW Seattle or UW Tacoma) can contact a transfer advisor for help with planning their coursework and getting ready to apply.

Students in other UW Majors

Students who have already been admitted to another major at UW Bothell that want to apply can contact the School of STEM advising office at for help scheduling an appointment.

Chemistry or Physics Minors

If you have completed the prerequisites for the Chemistry or Physics minor, contact your major advisor to declare your minor!
