UW Bothell’s G. Kochhar-Lindgren has been appointed as an Honorary Professor at the University of Hong Kong

BOTHELL, Wash. – University of Washington Bothell’s Dr. Gray Kochhar-Lindgren, Director of the Center for Undergraduate Studies and Programs (CUSP) and Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences (IAS) Professor, has been appointed as an Honorary Professor at the University of Hong Kong in the Centre for Humanities and Medicine.

As the Director of CUSP, Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren works to administer the academic program for first year students. As a faculty member in IAS, Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren teaches courses on philosophy, literature and cultural analysis.

During his Honorary Professor appointment, Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren will form a research group on “Transnational Asian Cities: Health, Virtualities, and Urban Ecologies,” as well as assisting on the development of interdisciplinary courses developed by the Li Ka Shing Medical Faculty.

Says Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren, “My work with the University of Hong Kong will complement my work at UW Bothell by allowing me to highlight the interdisciplinarity and collaborative scholarship for which Bothell is known.”
