How has work in Advancement & External Relations changed since remote operations began at UW Bothell? Brandon Washington, manager of annual giving and philanthropy, answers a few questions from Maria Lamarca Anderson, director of communications.

Sarah Ramirez is used to being on stage as a dancer with Bailadores de Bronce, a Mexican traditional dance team. Ramirez is also now in the spotlight as a 2019-20 participant in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program.

Kosuke Niitsu, an assistant professor in the School of Nursing & Health Studies, researches mental health resilience by surveying how UW Bothell students respond to virtual mindfulness exercises. 

With remote operations at the campus, Phoebe Keryte is finishing her final quarter back home in New Mexico where she’s helping her grandparents and conducting fieldwork for a degree in Health Studies.

“Delirium,” produced by students who didn’t meet in person because of the pandemic, won a medal at the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival in Berlin.
