Instead of political infighting, four legislative interns saw Washington state lawmakers acting neighborly. Instead of office chores, the interns had meaningful work researching bills, writing speeches and helping constituents.

A new minor in Biology at the University of Washington Bothell gives students opportunities to leverage their majors and document specific science skills to potential employers.
