Daniel Jaffe, chair and professor of physical sciences, School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics at University of Washington Bothell, is an expert on pollution sources, particularly wildfire smoke in the western United States and ozone air quality standards in the summer.
 

Each year UW Bothell celebrates the contributions of our valued staff. This year’s staff appreciation breakfast was a time to honor individuals across our campus who are committed to the success of our students and our campus community. As always, there were lots of laughs thanks to emcee Sean Marsh and lots of pictures to remember the occasion. 

When Robert Wrench started work as a UW Bothell gardener, the bee enthusiast found himself at home among the campus' smallest residents. He recently welcomed us into the secret lives of bees, sharing their potential educational value and the best times and places to find them. 

When teachers in the University of Washington Bothell's new digital teaching certificate program complete the course, they will be set to lead their students in this increasingly digital culture.

BOTHELL, Washington - Washington Monthly ranks the University of Washington Bothell No. 22 on its 2016 Best Bang for the Buck list of top 100 western region colleges. The list rates colleges based on their value-added or colleges that “help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”
