IAS faculty members Sarah Dowling, Gregory Laynor, and Alice Pedersen all presented at the annual conference of the American Comparative Literature Association.  

IAS 2011 Master of Arts in Cultural Studies alum and Associate Director for Advancement Priya Frank received the 2015 Outstanding Early Career Award from the UW Seattle Department of Communication. 

IAS faculty member Rebecca Brown performed at a number of public events this winter and spring.  She participated in a reading and seance to celebrate the work of Alice B. Toklas and Gertrude Stein at the Sorrento Hotel, while IAS faculty member Ted Hiebert shot "ghost photos."
