Robin Oppenheimer and Jason Pace speak on art and technology at Cornish Playhouse

IAS faculty members Robin Oppenheimer and Jason Pace presented at the Seattle Pecha Kucha event on Art & Technology: Bridges and Thruways held at Cornish Playhouse.  Oppenheimer spoke about her research on the 1966 9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering event, which focused on how creative collaboration between artists and engineers was transformative and revolutionary.  Drawing on his experience directing UW Bothell's Digital Futures Lab, Pace focused on how embracing radical diversity on creative teams can transform our vision not only of what we make with technology, but also what kinds of technologies we invent.
