UW Bothell Global Scholars
- What does it mean to be a global citizen?
- How do issues that affect your community influence the rest of the world?
- How can you gain an immersive global experience that is integrated with your education?
The Global Scholars Program brings together UW Bothell students from diverse backgrounds to answer these questions in a way that considers issues of diversity, difference, and identity as central to all global engagements.
Students selected for the program participate in a year-long experience designed to support critical reflection, guidance, and mentorship alongside fellow students with shared interests.
Classroom activities during spring and autumn quarters are paired with an immersive study abroad or internship program during the summer. At the end of this yearlong program, our Global Scholars are recognized for their commitment and achievements as leaders with the ability to ethically engage with different cultural perspectives in the larger global community.
