Attendance is Required. Students arriving into the U.S. on an initial I-20 can enter the U.S. up to 30 days before their program start date listed on their I-20, so plan accordingly.
Undergraduate Students: You must sign-up online to attend an Advising & Orientation (A&O) session, which is for all new undergraduate students. At A&O, you will meet your Academic Advisor to review your transfer credits and register for classes. The orientation will also include a special International Student Immigration session, that you are required to attend.
Graduate Students: You will attend a special International Graduate Student Immigration session, and have a chance to meet current students in your program.
Completion of the Pre-Arrival Guide Quiz is required for all first year students.
This helpful guide will provide you information on how to apply for your F1 visa, prepare for your arrival to Seattle, use on/off-campus housing resources, find campus resources, understand important U.S. laws, and more!
Graduate Students: We also encourage you to review the U501 Graduate School Online Orientation prior to your arrival.
