Chancellor's councils and committees

The Office of the Chancellor sponsors a number of councils and committees on campus.  

Chancellor’s Cabinet 

Advises the chancellor on general campus planning and issues, and acts as an information hub for all-campus leadership.

Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for Students (CACS)

An inclusive committee of undergraduate and graduate students, this group advises the chancellor on campus-wide budgets and major initiatives affecting UW Bothell students, including long-range budget and allocation planning, tuition levels where UW Bothell has tuition setting authority, enrollment management, and campus physical planning.

Advisory Council on Campus Safety

A campus-wide council that advises and provides recommendations on campus security and safety to the UW Bothell Chancellor and the President of Cascadia College, and provides training and educational needs for the campus community.

Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability  (CACES)

CACES is as an advisory body to coordinate and guide progress in fulfilling the commitment to environmental sustainability, identified as a priority through UW Bothell’s strategic planning process.

Community Engagement Council (CEC)

The CEC advises and assists UW Bothell in advancing its community engagement mission.  

Chancellor's Executive Team (CET)

This senior leadership team advises the chancellor on a wide range of strategic, academic, budgetary and operational matters. 

Chancellor's Leadership Council (CLC)

Established in October 2015 to advise the chancellor on a wide range of strategic matters, the CLC includes all members of the Chancellor’s Executive Team plus the leaders of the Council of Academic Deans, General Staff Organization, General Faculty Organization and Associated Students of the University of Washington Bothell.

Diversity Council

This an advisory body was established to coordinate and guide ongoing progress in fulfilling the commitment to diversity outlined in the mission statement and identified as a priority through UW Bothell's strategic planning processes. The council advises the chancellor and vice chancellors, and makes recommendations to inform the work of appropriate decision-making bodies. The Diversity Council will collaborate with the Chancellor's Cabinet, Council of Academic Deans and GFO Executive Council on a regular basis.

Enrollment Steering Advisory Committee

This committee's work is broad-based and advisory, with tactical work to be taken up by other committees or the appropriate offices. 

Veterans Life Initiative 

This group seeks to support UW Bothell's veteran community members by supporting their academic success while growing and strengthening their sense of community.


External committees

UW Bothell Advisory Board

The Advisory Board for the University of Washington Bothell provides guidance to the campus on issues surrounding higher education, assists in building relationships with business and civic leaders, and advocates for University resources.
