Favorite Restaurant in Bothell: I’m not there all the time, but I’ve enjoyed anything from Pen Thai.

Favorite Movies: "The Dark Knight." I’ve also watched "Zootopia" four times on Netflix.

Favorite TV Show: The only show I’ve ever watched during its entire live run was "Lost." I also love "Parks and Rec."

Favorite Books: I’ve read Tuesdays with Morrie several times in my life and every time it means something a little bit different to me. Oh, and Harry Potter. Hufflepuff for life!

Favorite Sports Team: I’m a Detroit sports fan, but my absolute favorite is the Detroit Tigers. Also, I love college football, especially the Big Ten, though I will always cheer for my alma mater, the Western Michigan Broncos.

Favorite College Experience: For one summer I worked as an orientation leader, guiding students around campus and meeting lots of new friends. I even got to wear a cowboy hat every day at work.

Favorite WA Activity: I love to take day hikes in the woods. My favorite hike is Wallace Falls in Gold Bar. I also enjoy Mariners games in the summer and visiting Gig Harbor.

Main Attraction at UW Bothell: When the sun shines through morning fog rolling off the wetlands, campus looks mysterious and beautiful, and I can’t wait to see what the day brings.

Advice for Transfer Students: When transferring, think about how you want to get involved in the school. What opportunities are available for upper level students, and what skills do you need to fulfill your degree? Does the school meet those needs? Find opportunities for research, engagement, and activity and make an impact.

Fun Fact: I accidentally sat on a cactus when I was 6 years old.
