Summer Orientation Overnight Housing - Frequently Asked Questions
When is Check-in and Check-out?
Housing check-in begins at 8:00am, Wednesday at Husky Village. Check-in for Orientation will be in the Plaza starting at 8:30am and the program begins promptly at 9:30am. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to check-in to your room so that you can arrive on time to orientation. You must check-out by 4:15pm on Thursday. The orientation program concludes at 3:30pm on Thursday. You should have plenty of time to check-out of your room after the orientation program concludes.
What is included in each night's stay?
Shared apartment stay with 2-3 other students
*Please keep in mind that television is not included.
Can I extend my stay for a day before or a day after?
Yes. When you register for orientation, you can choose to add the night before orientation and the night that orientation concludes. If you have already registered, you can add an overnight stay by clicking here.
There is no refund for canceled or unused Early Arrival and/or Late Departure nights after the reservation deadline date, which is two weeks before your orientation day. To reserve extended stay housing you must reserve consecutive nights.
How do I cancel or remove an Overnight Housing Orientation stay?
You must cancel your overnight housing registration no later than two weeks before your orientation session. You will be charged the $60 per night fee if you do not cancel at least two weeks prior to your session. To cancel or remove an overnight stay, you can edit your reservation by clicking here and updating your reservation.
What should I bring with me?
Everyday amenities (ex: Tylenol, allergy medication, Band-Aids, deodorant, etc.)
Can I choose my roommate?
Orientation is an opportunity to take advantage of meeting new people. Accommodations cannot be guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate students if they check-in together.
If I arrive before check-in, what are my instructions?
If you would like to check-in to your room before 8:00am, you need to reserve housing for the night before.
Who do I contact if the Community Center is closed at Husky Village?

What are the housing policies?

Can my parents stay with me in my room?
