Former UW Bothell board member Bob Craves has died at the age of 72. Craves served on the UW Bothell Higher Education Board from 2005-2006 and was an early advocate to establish the University of Washington Bothell.

“The University of Washington Bothell owes a great debt to Bob and his vision on behalf of the students of Washington,” says UW Bothell Chancellor Wolf Yeigh.

A long-time champion of education, Craves was a founding officer of the Costco Wholesale Corporation and co-founder of the College Success Foundation.

The family has requested that donations in Craves’ memory be made to the Bob Craves Endowed Scholarship Fund, in care of the College Success Foundation, 1605 NW Sammamish Rd. #200, Issaquah, WA 98027.
