Shauna Elbers Carlisle selected to join William T. Grant Advanced Quantitative and Computational Scholars

IAS faculty member Shauna Elbers Carlisle will be part of the new William T. Grant Advanced Quantitative and Computational (AQC) Scholars Cohort. The AQC Cohort is a highly-competitive National Science Foundation program that gathers scholars who are seeking to transform their professions and research through critical data science methodologies.

Carlisle brings to the cohort a focus on social epidemiology and the social demographics of health disparities. Over the course of this 2 year program scholars will advance their knowledge of critical data science techniques that have the potential to dismantle structural barriers and address issues relevant to underrepresented populations, higher education institutions, and communities.
