IAS faculty members Ron Krabill and David Goldstein, along with Natalia Dyba, Director of Global Initiatives at UW Bothell, and UW Tacoma Assistant Chancellor Collean Carmean, received a $49,700 grant to support Collaborative, Online, International Learning (COIL) courses on all three UW campuses. This is the second year they received this grant, administered by the UW’s Jackson School of International Studies. In the first year, the grant funded a day-long COIL Symposium and four faculty fellowships (including one for Ron Krabill and one for Ursula Valdez) at UW Bothell. This year’s funding will support another day-long Symposium (on Friday, September 18) and ten faculty fellowships.
